Navira originated from research into the protective properties of chestnut bur extract, to create essential formulas designed to help skin defend itself from daily stress
FROM THE ROVETO VALLEY TO NATURAL COSMETICS
We started from our roots
In the heart of the Roveto Valley, amidst the centuries-old chestnut groves of Canistro, Navira was born. The project is rooted in this territory and its traditions, transforming what was once considered a waste product of chestnut processing—the burr—into a new resource.
By observing this natural element, an innovative process for extracting polyphenolic substances, rich in antioxidant properties, was developed.
By studying the chestnut burr (Sativa)—the structure that protects the fruit—we discovered its potential as a natural source of functional active ingredients for cosmetics.
From this, a research and development path took shape, carried out in collaboration with universities and scientific centers, with the aim of transforming a material traditionally considered waste into a new vision of contemporary skincare.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
What protects can also heal
We believe that contemporary skincare should not be excessive, complex, or aggressive. Skin is subjected daily to stress, intense rhythms, environmental changes, and continuous external stimuli. This is why we develop essential products designed to help it regain balance, protection, and radiance.
